Update to the toll-free verification form

What's happening?

On June 16, 2023, Bandwidth will be updating the toll-free verification form to more closely align with the toll-free aggregator’s intake form, thus streamlining the submission process. The bulk toll-free verification CSV form will remain in place.

What do I need to know?

When you submit a request with the new form, you will receive an automated response confirming your submission. You will then receive an update once the aggregator has approved or denied your request. If your request is denied, you will have to resubmit a new form rather than update the ticket with the new information.

Another important change is that you will no longer be able to attach screenshots to the “Please provide URL of opt-in image” field. Instead, you will be required to provide a URL that leads to the image of the screenshot. We recommend researching online image hosting platforms/services to assist with this change in advance of June 16.

What do I need to do?

For more information, check out the Bandwidth toll-free verification handbook. On June 16, this page will update to include the new verification form and an updated glossary of fields on the toll-free verification form.

Additionally, you can learn more about our Toll-free Verification API here. This API will save you time by getting toll-free numbers into “pending” status for verification faster through automation and bypassing cumbersome, manual processes. If you are interested in this API, please reach out to your Account Manager.
