Announcing new 911 interface in the Bandwidth Dashboard
FollowWhat's happening?
We've added a new Emergency section to the top navigation bar in the Bandwidth Dashboard. This is where you'll manage all things related to your E911 services. You'll notice that it sports a new orange motif to help you easily tell when you’re working on highly sensitive content.
Note: If you don't see the Emergency section, it means that you must manage your E911 services in the 911 Access Dashboard. For instructions on how to do that, check out this support article.
What do I need to know?
The Emergency section contains three new tabs. Depending on your type of E911 services, you may see one, two, or all three:
- E911 Phone Numbers: Use this tab to configure the E911 service for your numbers individually or in bulk. Now you can also add non-Bandwidth phone numbers as 911 Endpoints, meaning that you can offer Bandwidth emergency services to your customers without porting your number.
- Dynamic Endpoints: Use this tab to manage Endpoints for your E911 DLR services.
- Dynamic Geolocations: Use this tab to manage Geolocations for your E911 DLR services.
