Error Code E1: Address Mismatch
This error may be displayed as Error Code E1 or with the message "Address Mismatch."
What does it mean?
It means the address on the order doesn't match the address on the losing carrier’s Customer Service Record (CSR).
How to resolve it
Bandwidth will try to pull the necessary CSR information to resolve this error on your behalf. If this can't be done, or if you'd like to speed things up, your customer will need to contact their current provider for that information.
Important: The address on the bill copy might not be the same as the address on the CSR. These are two different documents, and the information often doesn’t match. Most carriers require the service address for the lines that are porting, not the billing address. The exception is for toll-free or wireless ports, which usually require the billing address.
