You may see this error displayed as the error code of E10, E18 and/or with the 'Name Mismatch' error message as well.
What does this mean?
The business or residential name on the order does not match that of the carrier’s Customer Service Record (CSR).
How do I resolve it?
Bandwidth will attempt to pull a CSR on your behalf to assist in resolving this rejection. If this is unsuccessful, and/or to speed up the process, the end user may need to contact their current provider to pull the current name on the CSR.
Although what is provided on your end user's bill copy, it does not mean that the information provided there is the same as what is on their CSR. These are two separate documents and many times, the information is not the same. Porting requests most often need to be submitted with the information that is contained in the CSR, not the bill copy.
