Generally speaking, in the US market ACCEPTD will be the most precise indicator of a successful message you will receive.
Very few carriers will send a DELIVRD. ACCEPTD means the end carrier has received the message and it is usually considered successful. Some carriers even after sending back an ACCEPTD will still not deliver the message for spam or other reasons. This is on a per carrier basis.
If a carrier were to send a DELIVRD, we will send that back to you.
Similarly, failed messages are almost always indicated by a REJECTD rather than UNDELIVERABLE.
