Looking for information on how to manage your addresses and endpoints in the Bandwidth Dashboard? Take a look at our 911 Dynamic Location Routing support article!

Note: Bandwidth doesn't support SIP with more than 6 characters prepended.

The 911 Access Dashboard is designed to be a quick and efficient way to keep connected with the 911 endpoints. An endpoint is a record that pairs a phone number with a provisioned emergency address.

How to I add single endpoints?

  1. Log into the Bandwidth 911 Dashboard.
  2. From the top navigation bar, select Emergency and then click Endpoints
  3. Type or paste the phone number into the Telephone Number field and enter the end user's name into the Caller Name field.
  4. Click Yes to confirm the success prompt.
  5. Under the Current Addresses field, click Add Address
  6. Enter the address and click Ok.

If you're having trouble validating the address, please use the Address Validation tool:

  1. From the top navigation bar, select Emergency and then click Address Validation.
  2. Type the address into the fields and click Validate

If the address doesn't validate, please open a ticket with your Bandwidth Support Team or hit us up at (855) 864-7776.

How do I add endpoints in bulk?

  1. Log into the Bandwidth 911 Dashboard.
  2. From the top navigation bar, select Emergency and then click Bulk Import.
  3. For guidance on how to organize your Import file click To view a sample import CSV file, click here. You can use this file as a template or as a guide to format your own file.
  4. Once you've completed your import file, save it as a .CSV file
  5. Click Choose File and browse to locate it.
  6. Add or update endpoints from file.
  7. Click Import Data.
  8. Each bulk import will be assigned a Batch ID, which can be used to check the status of the order in the Batch Import Status section on this page.

Note: You can use the same steps to remove the endpoints in bulk, but please make sure to select the Remove endpoints from file option in step 6 instead.

Additional information about the Endpoint Information screen

  • The 911 Access Dashboard can support up to three addresses on file, but only ONE can be active at a time. To change which address is active, click the lightswitch icon with the green checkmark. To delete an address, click the red circle and slash icon.
  • Once validated, you may click the Provisioned PSAP Information link to see which Public Safety Access Point (PSAP), would answer a 911 call in an emergency situation. For placing 911 test calls, we also advise that you use the Direct Emergency Phone Number to request approval prior to placing test calls.
