Updates to CNAM and LIDB ticket options

What's happening? 

In order to improve the turnaround time and efficiency of our Caller Name (CNAM) and Line Information Database (LIDB) tickets, we are adding new options for opening these tickets on July 30, 2024.

What do I need to know?

Caller Name (CNAM) tickets: 

The CNAM process will remain the same with a new designated CNAM ticket opening option. 

Line Information Database (LIDB) tickets:

In the new LIDB option, you can provide a CSV (via a template link) for automated LIDB updates. Our new automation will then automatically pull the following information and add it to your ticket:

  • Custom account provisioning
  • If your numbers are currently provisioned with LIDB
  • If the industry data for LIDB matches what is in IRIS
  • The preferred vendor for the numbers in question

We will provide a sample CSV template within the ticket template where you can add your LIDB information for the relevant phone numbers. If your account is enabled for LIDB and the numbers haven’t been previously assigned, our new automation will return a correctly formatted CSV and upload instructions. You can then simply upload the resulting CSV into the Bandwidth App to provision those numbers.
