Locations help you organize your phone number inventory and configure your IP addresses for Voice and Messaging. When a number is added to a Location, it inherits the settings and properties of that Location. You must have at least one Sub-account to create a Location.

Creating a Location

  1. In the side navigation bar, click Account and select Locations.
  2. Click Add Location and complete the following fields:
    • Name: Provide a name for this Location.
    • Description: Enter a description for this Location (optional).
    • Sub-Account: Select a Sub-account that you want to associate with this Location.
    • Default Location: Turn this on if you'd like this to be your primary Location. This means when you order or port a number, this Location will show up first after you select your Sub-account.
  3. Click Create Location.

Deleting a Location

  1. In the side navigation bar, click Account and select Locations.
  2. In the Sub-Account field, select the Sub-account associated with the Location.
  3. On the left side of the page, select the Location you want to delete (you can use the Search field to narrow down the list).
  4. Remove all phone numbers from the Location. You can either move them to a different Location or disconnect them
  5. Click Delete.
