How do I manage Locations in the Bandwidth App?
FollowLocations help you organize your phone number inventory and configure your IP addresses for Voice and Messaging. When a number is added to a Location, it inherits the settings and properties of that Location. You must have at least one Sub-account to create a Location.
Creating a Location
- In the side navigation bar, click Account and select Locations.

Click Add Location and complete the following fields:
- Name: Provide a name for this Location.
- Description: Enter a description for this Location (optional).
- Sub-Account: Select a Sub-account that you want to associate with this Location.
- Default Location: Turn this on if you'd like this to be your primary Location. This means when you order or port a number, this Location will show up first after you select your Sub-account.
- Click Create Location.
Deleting a Location
- In the side navigation bar, click Account and select Locations.
- In the Sub-Account field, select the Sub-account associated with the Location.
- On the left side of the page, select the Location you want to delete (you can use the Search field to narrow down the list).
- Remove all phone numbers from the Location. You can either move them to a different Location or disconnect them.
- Click Delete.
