What's happening?

We are excited to announce that Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) is now available on the Bandwidth App! If enabled, this enhanced security feature will require users to verify their identity using two or more factors.

Bandwidth will support the use of email, authenticator apps, or Okta Verify as additional authentication factors.

What do I need to know?

MFA is now available on the Bandwidth App and can be enabled at the user-level by the individual themself. Unfortunately, this feature will not be supported on the Legacy Global Portal. We strongly encourage all eligible users to enable MFA or opt for Single Sign-On (SSO) to bolster your account's security.

What do I need to do?

To start using MFA, simply log in to your Bandwidth App account and navigate to Account > Users > Your User > MANAGE MFA. There, you’ll find the option to enable MFA. Follow the prompts to set up your preferred verification methods (email, authenticator app, or Okta Verify). If you have any questions or need assistance during the setup process, feel free to reach out to our support team.
