Port order statuses

Once you submit your port order, it can go through several steps before being completed or terminated. To help you better understand where it is in the process, each order is accompanied by a porting status tracker, similar to the one below.

The table below contains the full list of port order statuses and their descriptions. Please note that each order is unique, so you may encounter any combination of the following.

Status Descriptions
Submitted Your order has been received and is being processed by the losing carrier. Please allow up to 72 business hours for a response.
Canceled Your port request is canceled and related phone numbers will not be moved to Bandwidth.
Complete Your port request has been successfully completed.
Exception An error has been identified with your order. Please check the notes below for details, and reach out if you need assistance.
FOC Your order has been approved.
Missing requirements Some of the requirements on your order are missing. Please check the notes below for details, and reach out if you need assistance.
Pending carrier approval Your order has been sent to the losing carrier for approval. Please allow up to 72 business hours for the losing carrier to reply during this step.
Pending documents We need additional documentation to proceed. Please check the notes below for details, and reach out if you need assistance.
Requested cancel We are working with the losing carrier to fully cancel your port request. Please allow up to 24 business hours for this step.
Requested supplement Your order changes have prompted a new LSR, which has been sent to the losing carrier for approval. Please allow up to 72 business hours for a response.
Snapback Your ported number has been returned to its original carrier due to an error or system issue.
