Porting for Canadian numbers is now fully automated through Fibernetics
What's happening?
Effective April 30, 2025, Bandwidth is expanding porting automation to include Canadian numbers through our vendor, Fibernetics. This means that if you port an eligible Canada-based number, your port order will be processed through Fibernetics automatically, streamlining the porting process and reducing manual handling.
What do I need to know?
One of the biggest benefits of this change is that you can now port outside the standard 11:30 am ET window previously required for manual Canadian ports. You will also have the flexibility to add or remove telephone numbers (TNs) without canceling your entire request.
What do I need to do?
No additional action is needed. The Bandwidth App will automatically process eligible numbers beginning April 30, 2025, so please continue porting your Canadian numbers as you do today, and enjoy the streamlined process.
