What happens if a Hosted Messaging number ports to another provider?

Mark Macchioni

Bandwidth won't detect the port out, given that we're not the owner/operator of the winning carrier. Customers of the service are expected to keep track of port out activity and remove numbers as appropriate.

Please note, a number porting away to another provider could result in the messaging being disrupted as the new provider assumes ownership of the messaging route(s).
