Is toll-free porting supported?

Yes! The process is more manual in nature than Bandwidth's standard number porting and the estimated porting time is 3-7 business days.

Note: You're required to attach a fully completed Letter of Authorization (LOA) upon submission to avoid delays. Please remember to keep all the required pieces of the LOA intact.

LOAs come in many flavors, however they're all required to:

  • Have the end user's name and address that matches the losing carrier's records, as well as what's submitted on the order
  • Have an authorized signature
  • Be dated within 30 days from the current date
  • List porting phone number(s)

Here's an example of what a toll-free LOA looks like. Please feel free to use this as your template and change your branding as necessary.

Note: Some carriers (RespOrgs) require the LOAs for toll-free numbers to be branded with Bandwidth's information.
