WHAT DOES THE NEW INVOICE LOOK LIKE?

Instead of receiving an invoice for every provisioning account with Bandwidth, you’ll now receive only one. Don’t just take our word for it — click each invoice image below to compare old and new invoice templates yourself!

SAME INVOICE DELIVERY, NEW CSV ADDED!

Bandwidth will continue to email the invoice to the contacts we have on file for your account. You’ll also be able to retrieve your invoice from the Bandwidth Dashboard via the existing process in place today. As an added bonus, Bandwidth will provide a CSV version of your invoice along with the PDF that you receive via email.

WHAT IF I WANT TO CHANGE MY INVOICE DELIVERY CONTACTS?

Just have an authorized contact open a ticket with our billing department, specify which emails you’d like added or removed, and our team will square everything away for you!

ARE THERE ANY CHANGES TO HOW I’LL PAY MY INVOICE?

Yes. Your new invoice will contain your new account number that begins with “BW-”. Please use this account number to make payments with your new invoice.

WHAT IF I CURRENTLY HAVE MULTIPLE INVOICES AND MAKE MULTIPLE PAYMENTS?

Say goodbye to multiple payments! With Bandwidth’s new invoice experience, you only need to make one payment.

WHERE DO PAYMENTS SHOW ON THE INVOICE?

Payment details will be displayed on page 2 of the invoice. No more scrolling to the very end of the invoice to see that information.

WHAT ABOUT OUTSTANDING BALANCES FROM MY OLD INVOICE(S)?

Bandwidth will make sure those balances are transferred accordingly, even if you used to receive more than one invoice from us. No work to do here!

HOW WILL THIS IMPACT MY AUTOPAY?

Autopayments will continue to be drafted from the account information on file. If you’re interested in signing up for autopay, please visit our pay site. You will need to specify a single payment method for the auto payment of your invoice.

WILL THE DUE DATE OF MY INVOICE CHANGE?

For most of our customers, there will be no changes to the due date. For the small number of customers that currently receive an invoice on the 1st and 7th of each month, you’ll now have 6 extra days to pay the invoice that was previously delivered on the 1st. Bandwidth’s new invoice experience will provide you with a single invoice on the 7th of each month. Woohoo!

WHAT IF I CURRENTLY HAVE 2 ACCOUNTS WITH DIFFERENT INVOICE DATES?

Bandwidth will automatically send a single invoice using the latter of the two current invoices dates. For example, if you currently receive an invoice on the 1st and 7th of each month, you'll now receive just one invoice on the 7th of the month.

HOW HAVE THE INVOICE COLUMNS CHANGED?

Your new invoice presents columns consistently, making it easier to scan from section to section. The invoice groups charges by product family to make it easier to reconcile with your contracted rates.

WHAT INFORMATION WILL THE INVOICE CSV INCLUDE?

The CSV will be provided with the invoice PDF and is intended to be the most granular breakdown of charges that you receive on the PDF. For example, the invoice PDF may have a single line item for number port-in charges covering the month of July. The CSV will have individual rows with quantities for each day of July that had number port-in charges.

You'll receive the CSV as a separate attachment via email along with the PDF as soon as your invoice is ready each month. The CSV is also included when you download your invoice from the Bandwidth Dashboard.

Looking to compute the rate for a particular line item on your invoice? No problem! Just divide the charge column by the quantity to get the rate.

We're also introducing a new “Type” column in the CSV to designate whether a charge is monthly recurring (MRC), non-recurring (NRC) or usage (USG).
