We’re sorry to see you go! If you’ve decided to cancel your services with us, please follow the steps below to ensure the process goes smoothly.

Note: As stated in your contract, canceling your Bandwidth services prior to the end of your contract term may result in early termination penalties.

Getting started

Please open a support ticket or email billing@bandwidth.com and request to cancel your services. To help expedite the process, include the following information:

  • GAN: Global Account Number
  • Account Name: Your company name
  • Full account disconnection or partial?
    • If partial, please list the service account numbers you want disconnected.
  • Disconnection Date: Account disconnections are only performed Monday - Thursday during business hours. Business hours are 8 am - 5 pm EST.
  • Reason for disconnection: Sharing your reason helps us improve our services.

Note: Per your agreement, all cancellation requests must be submitted to Bandwidth in writing.

What happens next?

The Bandwidth Billing Team will work with you to start the service cancellation process. Once your services have been disconnected, we'll determine if there are any charges remaining based on the applicable terms of your agreement. If the disconnection occurs in the middle of the service period, you'll see charges on your final invoice the following month.

For example, if you disconnect your services in mid-January, you should expect to receive your final invoice in February, since there will be charges for the services rendered in January.
