Yes! Bandwidth offers Transcription as part of our Voice API features set.
What is Transcription?
Transcription allows you to transcribe call recordings and store those transcriptions for later use.
What languages can be transcribed?
The Voice API is able to auto-detect and transcribe speech in the following languages:
- English (US)
- Spanish (Latin American)
- French (Canadian)
How is Transcription billed?
Transcription is billed at a flat rate per minute and rounded up in 6-second increments. It will appear on your Bandwidth invoice as “API Voice Transcription” and will list the number of Transcription API calls, combined Minutes of Usage (MOU), as well as the total charge.
Note: You can find your Transcription detail records in your Billing Detail Record (BDR) report.
